Meet the speakers

Angelika Sharygina is a political researcher, presenter and tech for good entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of a startup that is creating solutions to combat misinformation to power the next generation of critical thinkers, and she is completing a doctorate in information integrity at Trinity College Dublin. She is a frequent keynote speaker on topics such as fake news, digital rights, forced migration, war studies and sustainability.

Anton Christodoulou is the Chief Technology Officer at Imagination, an Experience Design Company headquartered in London. Anton is responsible for Imagination’s global technology strategy and execution. He has over 20 years' experience in executive-level technology projects, including with emerging and exponentially-growing technologies such as AI, immersive tech (VR/AR/MR) and blockchain.

Greig Dowling is the founder of the disinformation detection platform Mitify+ and co-founding trustee of the data privacy advocacy group Trust 3.0. He has extensive experience in media and technology, and is passionate about web3, AI, and digital privacy, and their potential to foster a global dialogue that champions responsible innovation for a safer society.

Stephanie Antonian is Director at Aestora. Aestora designs AI applications that move humans from fear to peace. Former Biblical Scholar, she helped build the ethics team at DeepMind and has worked with NASA, Google X - the Moonshot Factory, Harvard, and Accenture on social justice projects.

Chair: Dr Melanie Garson is Associate Professor (Teaching) in International Conflict Resolution & International Security in the UCL Department of Political Science and School of Public Policy, and is the Cyber and Tech Geopolitics Lead at the Tony Blair Institute.
